But we didn't go to Alingsås for the train ride ;). Alingsås has once a year a light festival, where artists from all around the world make public art arrangements - with light. When we arrived it wasn't really dark, so we stopped in a cute little café for a read. When it was dark enough we went around to check out the lights. It was nice, and due to the wet weather, the light was even more scattered in the slightly foggy air. I heard it's not as good as last year, but still nice to look at, especially for the first time. It's really nice and close to Göteborg, so we try to make this a yearly tradition.

Lights in Alingsås
Yesterday we made a small trip to the nice nearby city of Alingsås. First we planned to do it by bike, but unfortunately the weather was not really nice, so we decided to go by train. It takes only about 30min. and is a nice railway along of a few big lakes. That's something I actually really like here in Sweden, that roads, highways and rails close to the sea or lakes are mostly seem to be almost the same level as the water, and you get a fantastic view.
